Gaylaxicon is the annual international gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender & friends Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Gaming Convention, held in a different city each year hosted by a local GLBTQ fan organization.
Gaylaxicon 2007 will be held in beautiful midtown Atlanta, GA on October 5 - 8, 2007 (Columbus Day weekend). All humans, aliens and multi-forms are welcome.

About The Con:
G'con 2007 will feature all the standard con fare: panels, dances, films, receptions, celebrities, a costume contest, etc. Plus, we'll be including all the things that have become a part of the Gaylaxicon tradition: the Chocolate Symposium, the SF Jeopardy! Game, the Ice Cream Social, and all the rest. We'll also have live music, a performance of "Rocky Horror Picture Show", and many other surprises! About The Hotel:
Our hotel is the Sheraton Midtown Atlanta at Colony Square, located in the heart of the Atlanta "gayborhood". There are many entertainment options all within walking distance of the hotel.
Make sure you schedule in time to visit the city. The Sheraton is positioned right in the center of all the best things to see and do in Atlanta: the High Museum of Art, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Alliance Theatre (all one block away from the hotel), the Margaret Mitchell House, the World of Coke Museum, the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Site, the brand-new Georgia Aquarium (the largest aquarium in the world), CNN Studios, Turner Broadcasting, and much much more!
For nightlife, we've got gay/lesbian bars like Blake's, Burkhart's, Miss Q's,Red Chair and others to let you meet some of the locals and experience a bit of the Atlanta vibe. At current count, there are 21 bars and clubs within two miles of the hotel!
And trust me...it would simply take far too long to list here all of the restaurants just within a matter of blocks from the hotel, much less all 455 that are within two miles of the hotel!
